At Hotel Beaugrenelle Tour Eiffel we take food and drink very seriously indeed, and enjoy nothing more than sampling delicious new dishes and wines. Autumn is a wonderful time to plan a stay in Paris as three of the most exciting food and drink trade fairs are dedicated to cocoa, wine and other gourmet treats. Salon du Chocolat is at Porte de Versailles from 29th October till 2nd November, and le Grand Tasting takes place at Carrousel du Louvre on 28th and 29th November. Gourmet Delights are the order of the day at Salon Saveurs at Porte de Versailles from 19th to 23rd November or from 5th to 8th December at Espace Champerret. The hotel is within easy reach of each event by taxi or metro and we’ll be happy to help with directions.

Salon du Chocolat : Happy 20th Birthday!

Salon du Chocolat, now in its 20th year is a great way to take a look at the heritage of this wonder food and taste some of the most delicious types. See Art Choc’olat, a thrilling new concept that brings together artists, chocolatiers and pastry chefs, and experience the delicious world of chocolate through tastings, exhibits and interactive features.

Grand Tasting : fine French wines

The Grand Tasting at Carrousel du Louvre is one of our favourite events. Taste fine French wines in a unique and perfect setting that is designed to ensure the very best conditions for the wine. Now in its 8th year, le Grand Tasting features the best wines from participating vineyards. Take part in master classes or meet wine makers and cellar masters at one of the city’s most popular events.

Saveurs des Plaisirs Gourmands : culinary trends

Saveurs des Plaisirs Gourmands at Porte de Versailles from 19th to 23rd November and at Espace Champerret from 5th to 8th December showcases culinary trends, and is a great way to stock up for the approaching festive season. Sample high end gourmet delights from all over France, meet producers or take part in cookery classes and gourmet workshops.

Art is as important as food in Paris, and you may also enjoy some of the excellent contemporary art and design exhibitions that will soon take place in the city, including Art Elysees, Design Elysees and FIAC 2014.

Explore contemporary art & design this October

The Champs-Elysees is an inspired setting for some of the most exciting contemporary art & design shows of the year. Art Elysees takes place in conjunction with Design Elysees and together the two exhibitions present a comprehensive collection of contemporary art and furniture from October 23rd to 27th, while FIAC, at the magnificent Grand Palais des Champs-Elysees from October 23rd to 26th is your opportunity to explore works by over 3000 artists.
