Enjoy Paris with kids this Christmas with a truly magical funfair in the splendor of the Grand Palais, all a short journey from the Hotel Beaugrenelle Tour Eiffel.
The Grand Palais is one of the most fabulous and grand of all Parisian exhibition spaces, with soaring domes built early last century in the ornate style of art nouveau. Normally it's home to the city's most important art exhibitions. But from 21 December to 5 January, it's home to fun and laughter as the entire space is taken over by a magnificent funfair "Jours de fêtes".
You'll find something for all the family to enjoy and there's more than enough to occupy a day out. You may well want to visit again and again.
A 30-metre high Ferris wheel will give you unique views of the newly-renovated glass canopy with its elaborate ornamentation. You'll "ooh" and "aah" at the views of Paris beyond. There's some 50 other attractions for you, your family and friends to enjoy. Children will delight in the bumper cars and you can try your skill at rifle shooting. Who will win the prizes on offer?
Ride the horses on the traditional merry-go-rounds and join the children on the swings. Then take your pick of all the food that's available at the funfair. Whether it's toffee apples, candy-floss or a traditional French crepe, you'll find your favorites available here.
Anyone interested in architecture will want to spend some time walking around the Grand Palais. This place is one of the wonders of Paris, especially now it's restored to its former glory.
At Hotel Beaugrenelle Tour Eiffel we look forward to welcoming you and your family this winter. We're ideally placed for the short journey to the Grand Palais, and we can advise you on tickets and the best time to visit.
